Syrian military helicopter crashed at northern air base of Kweiras
May 24,Beirut: A Syrian military helicopter smashed on Sunday at the northern air base of Kweiras, killing all its team, as an extremist group said it was shot around Islamic State activists.Anonymous military official said that the helicopter smashed today as a consequence of a specialized issue while taking off.The report did not say what number of group individuals were on abroad at the time of the accident.
The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said Islamic State activists who have been laying attack to the base for a considerable length of time shot down the helicopter. The Observatory said one team part was killed while the destiny of the others stayed misty.
Kweiras military air base is in the northern area of Aleppo and is near to the town of al-Bab, which is held by the Islamic State bunch.Syrian renegades have shot down helicopters before.
