Mortar shell hits a school in Damascus, killing a Syrian teacher and injuring 23 students
May 20,Beirut: A school in the heart of Damascus was hit by a mortar shell on Wednesday killing a Syrian teacher and injuring 23 students.The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, which tracks violence in the nation, said two mortars hit the school and that a large portion of the injured were in bad condition.State media said “terrorists” had done the assault, a term it uses to depict agitators.
Recently the capital went under substantial bombardments from Islam Army radicals situated in the edges of Damascus, at least 17 individuals were executed in the crusade.No group has so far guaranteed obligation regarding the assault.
Damascus has generally been protected from the war which has murdered more than 220,000 since a rebellion against President Bashar al-Assad emitted in 2011.Two years back, extremists including Islamist gatherings represented a genuine danger to the capital when they took some of its neighborhoods.
