Malala urges to aid Syrian refugees
July 13, Amman: Nobel peace prize winner Malala Yousafzai has urged the wealthier nations to help Syrian war refugees who are in desperate need of assistance.
During her tour to Jordan’s Azraq refugee camp on Monday, she called them “quite stingy,” and called on to increase aid.
The Syrian conflict since 2011 has left more than 4 million Syrians to flee the country, mostly settled in Jordan.
