Kenya at cross roads: Obama 


July 26, Nairobi: US President Barack Obama has praised the Kenya’s progress in economic and political situations. In a speech during his visit to Kenya, Obama has warned that massive corruption, terrorism and tribal ethnic division are major challenges that need to be addressed.

Obama also condemned the repression of women, and urged the development aid to be spent on girls education. Referring to gay rights he emphasized to embrace diversity in the country.

Obama’s visit to Africa began on Friday, and is flying to Ethopia on late Sunday. He is scheduled to address the 54 member African Union on Tuesday.
