Colombian landslide killed 61 and dozens missing
May 19,Bogota:At minimum 61 individuals have been killed and many are lost after an avalanche in northwest Colombia in the early hours of Monday, authorities said.Heavy downpours created a gorge to flood, sending mud and water onto neighboring homes in Salgar, situated in Antioquia division.
“Regardless we don’t have a definite figure, I just realize that there are more than 61 dead, numerous families dislodged, however I still can’t give a precise figure,” nearby authority Zulma Osorio told neighborhood Caracol Radio.”The catastrophe is of a gigantic extent,” she included. “There are numerous all the more dead, the entire town is completely fell.”
